THE WHITE HOUSE RECOMMENDS:
GET A WATER FILTER!

"Filtering home tap or well water can decrease exposure to numerous known or suspected carcinogens and endocrine-disrupting chemicals."

A report was just released this week from the White House Cancer Panel, recommending that people use home filtering devices to decrease their exposure to cancer-causing agents. In its official annual report, the panel also recommends storing and transporting drinking water in non-plastic containers such as stainless steel bottles.

Regardless of whether you support the current President, the fact is that this group of cancer experts are non-partisan - they are just concerned with the health of Americans - and they put out the report which does recommend that everyone use a water filter and that one does not store water in plastic bottles, in order to reduce the risk of cancer.

Can Multipure help with those two suggestions? YES!

“This is one of the easiest, and most inexpensive measures a family can take to protect itself against carcinogens” said Alvin E. Rice, president of Multipure International." Multipure makes the most effective drinking water systems on the market today, with NSF certifications showing they reduce the widest range of known contaminants. Multipure also has terrific stainless steel water bottles to replace all of those awful plastic bottles that are filling up dumps and exposing people to more harmful chemicals.

The President’s Cancer Panel is a three-person body made up of distinguished scientists or physicians. It reports to President Obama on the development and execution of the National Cancer Program. The panel’s report, titled “Reducing Environmental Cancer Risks: What We Can Do Now” states, “Filtering home tap or well water can decrease exposure to numerous known or suspected carcinogens and endocrine-disrupting chemicals.” The report goes on to highlight the added importance of protecting children. “To the extent possible, parents and child care providers should choose house products that will minimize children’s exposure to toxics.”

In addition to water filtration, the panel also recommends carrying drinking water in stainless steel or glass containers to reduce exposure to chemicals that may leach into water from plastics.

Multipure International is one of the industry’s most respected manufacturers of water filtration systems and components. In business since 1970, Multipure products feature the broadest NSF certified contaminant reduction claims (NSF Std. 53).
